Brett Nannup (b. 1975, Perth, Western Australia) is a Noongar artist with ancestral ties to the Binjareb and Wilman peoples. His work explores the intersection of Noongar and Western worlds through rich textures and storytelling. He has exhibited internationally and completed major public art commissions, including ‘Gumap and Gudbru’ at Elizabeth Quay. Brett has received numerous art awards, and his work is held in prestigious national and international collections, reflecting his deep cultural roots and evolving contemporary practice.
